Curves ahead!

I've seen way too many web sites with cool pictures of people's cars, so I decided to be a little different. I went and took pictures of my black '97 Probe GTS at night. In the fog. What does a black car look like in the dark? Gee, that's a tough one...

Just the fog lights - dichroic amber lenses

Fogs and lo beams

This is my favorite shot. Click for the full-size image.

The colors are kind of off in these photos. This shot gives a better idea of how the xenon-charged Hella bulbs look. The cool thing about taking these pictures in the fog is you can see how sharp the beam cutoffs are. I also took advantage of this opportunity to re-aim the lamps...

Got some rain in this shot too. Yeehah...

Phasers firing, Captain...

No, that's not a Saturn-V rocket booster. That's what your hi beams look like when you use them in thick fog. Bright light, but dim idea...

The sign says "Elevation 5000 FT" - next time I'll try not to move when I click the trigger. At 6000 ft the rain had turned to snow. Boy was I surprised... I used up all my film already though, so nothing cool to see from that.
